A past experience was perceived in a certain way and from that perception arose certain feelings.
If the situation was perceived differently, different feelings would have arisen and not the ones I have now.
I cannot be in a state of inner peace if there is inner agitation and conflict.
I choose to be a peaceful witness in spite of the temptation to engage in ceaseless mental chatter.
When I choose to be a peaceful witness of my inner world, I can now truly be a peaceful witness of the outer world.
