We’ve featured many series that focus their theme on the Alphabet, It’s a great practice because every single letter has their own properties and characteristics.
We are taking a closer look at the work from Bogdan Dreava and his minimal approach at this take on the Alphabet Series.
Bogdan is mainly a photographer based in Timișoara, Romania.
What I do like about this series it’s the minimal use of elements and the play with the light and shadow.
It definitely create a tone to the collection and the color palette just enhance well the overall experience.

Holiday Card – Adobe Capture and Illustrator Tutorials

But the reason of this post is not to talk about the past but to showcase a tutorial that illustrates the future at least in terms of how mobile tools can be incorporated in your design process replacing old things like scanners. Editorial Design: A Brief Story About Everything

I love checking out old project published on sites like Behance and Dribbble. I think it's a great testament of good design if they can stand the test of time. There are some areas that are more prone to survive the painful effect of time. Editorial Design is one of them and this project  that Mane Tatoulian is a great example. It was originally published in 2015 and still feels fresh, at least from my point of view.

Play Dead Takes Deck of Cards Illustration to the Next Level

Riffle Shuffle approached Steven Harrison to design and illustrate a deck of playing cards based off his previous personal project titled ‘Go for it’. Evolving the original image to work in this format and further developing this style to work throughout the deck. Amazing Illustration Work of Mercedes Bazan

I recently came back from a trip to Japan, it was my first time there and I was blown away by the culture, especially the visuals. I was familiar with the aesthetics from video-games and mangas, however seeing some of the contrasts of peaceful and minimal to chaotic and colorful is incredible in person. The reason I’m bringing this up is because I was reading this interview with James White and he mentioned Mercedes Bazan as an illustrator he admires.
