The Baja-style Prerunner is never the wrong answer, especially for light-duty pickups like the new Ford Ranger.
Orange County-based Automotive Performance Group agrees, and their Series I ProRunner kit for the all-new Ranger turns it into a widebody desert-ready truck.
Available for two- or four-wheel drive, The ProRunner starts with hand-laid carbon fiber front and rear fenders that widen the track by 10 inches over factory specs.
To fill the added space, new upper and lower control arms and associated steering components are used, along with new hubs and spacers at the rear.
The Series I ProRuner kit can be installed at APG’s facility in California, or you can save a few bucks and do it yourself.
