Last year in December, Google enabled a feature called Direct sharing, which allowed users to share a single photo or video to another Google Photos user via a private conversation from within the app itself.
Google is now adding the ability to directly share private albums in a similar manner to another user.
If the user wishes to share the album to a person who does not use Google Photos or does not have a Google account, Link Sharing will continue to exist.
Direct Album Sharing will start rolling out today to everyone over the next few days.
Google Photos is available for free on the Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS.
