Hands on With the Phase One XT: A Digital Medium Format Field Camera

Phase One’s new XT is the modern-day version of the large format field camera, complete with field camera movements and spectacular large format style lenses.
This is the case with Phase One’s IQ4 line of digital backs and the XF, and now XT, camera systems.
Unlike Phase One’s DSLR-styled XF, the XT is a mirrorless camera body designed to use large format style lenses and camera movements.
Being able to do that with a technical camera was nothing less than a delight and made the camera feel nimble and responsive.
I also regularly shifted back and forth between the “simulated exposure” live view and the “automated exposure” live view.
