The vocabulary was particular to this one web experience, more volatile, a smaller set of nodes, and needed language markedly different from our central taxonomy.
Mapping the two taxonomies let us publish content using our central taxonomy and the QuickBooks site with a different user-facing taxonomy.
We linked this taxonomy to the central taxonomy for tagging content to topics and added alternate and hidden labels for search.
Instead of hard-coding the structure of every page, we chose to use our central taxonomy management service.
