Oscar rivals Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach reveal how they found out they were nominated

Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach were not waiting by the phone when the Oscar nominations were revealed.
Instead, they were chilling with their 10-month-old baby, Harold.
You should probably already know this, but Gerwig directed Little Women featuring Meryl Streep, Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern, Florence Pugh, and Emma Watson.
So, what was it like in the Gerwig-Baumbach household on the morning of Oscar nominations?
“I saw from across the room, I saw your phone kept lighting up and was like, ‘Well, he’s got good news, at least,'” said Gerwig.
