The Balvenie was built on stories of craftspeople that are told from one generation to the next.
The Stories range of whisky documents those tales.
For their fourth release in the collection, the distillery is releasing a 19-year-old single malt inspired by the winding paths and steep Speyside hills that lead to a moor of heather.
It’s made up entirely of ingredients grown on Balvenie’s Dufftown estate including home-grown barley, water from the Robbie Dhu spring, and fresh heather from the Burnhead Wood that was dried, dampened, and added to the kiln during malting.
